MAPA performs with KISS

A Remarkable Opportunity: MAPA students share the AFL Grand Final Stage with KISS

At the recent AFL Grand Final, the dance community in Melbourne witnessed a remarkable collaboration between dance studios and the legendary rock band, KISS. Out of a total of 500 dancers representing 10 dance studios from Melbourne, we are proud to announce that MAPA and Kstar Dance Studios were selected to have their dancers perform on stage with KISS.

This unique opportunity highlighted the exceptional talent and dedication of our students from MAPA and our friends at Kstar. The journey began with a call from the Creative Director, Yvette Lee, inviting our students to be part of this iconic moment. Having our dancers on stage with KISS was an extraordinary honour and a testament to the outstanding level of performance and reputation that both MAPA and Kstar uphold.

We would like to extend our heartfelt gratitude to the AFL Grand Final organizers, Mushroom Events, Yvette Lee and KISS for making this incredible experience possible. It not only allowed our students to dance alongside rock legends but also served as a source of inspiration and motivation for their future endeavours in the world of dance.

The collaboration at the AFL Grand Final was a momentous occasion, and we are proud of the collective achievement of all the dancers involved. We look forward to continuing to foster and celebrate the talent and dedication of our students, as well as all the other dance studios that participated, in their respective journeys in the dance community.
